My favorite game since i started gaming. I have to say the story is gripping and the cause and effect system with dialog was amazing. I felt in the story, and to that end I had to take a day off to calm down before I could play again. The Morrigan ending was an insane twist. It was good as long as the story gets completed. If not I won't be buying the next one however. The game is sickmade and I love it. I will not take a kick in the nuts again for sixty bucks without some closure on all those loose ends however. Im medicated but that olny helps so much. It was a gripping and very intense plot and the battles are just epic.

In the fade when you have to switch to the flaming man then the gollem to get through a door, if you detect enemies before punching the door then die, the autosave restarts you already detecting enemies and it wont let you bust down the door. this happens often in other spots as well even outside the fade. If you travel out then back in through a portal sometimes that resets it. Fine work and I hope you keep the story line a rollin because for me that was half the fun.

I find myself in a complete state of shock at feeling/thinking/writing this very post.

Up until about a month ago, only two games have ever appealed to me: Age Of Conquerors, an RTS made by Microsoft and Tibia, a MMORPG with shoddy graphics, but GREAT logic behind it. Granted, they are both old (for today's standards), nonetheless, they are very well made.

I have also watched my friends play many of the popular console games, the new PC hits, and not one of the games they played was able to ignite even the spark of an urge to try them out.

For a very long time now, I was toying, and more recently solidifying the notion that there was no longer the possibility of a game seducing me; of luring me in to it's vast confines. Dragon's Age: Origins, however, has completely changed that. My curiosity was piqued from the moment I saw the box, and that feeling has now escalated to something more or less resembling infatuation. I even went so far as to upgrading my video card, solely for the purpose of playing on the high settings as opposed to medium.

The story, the art, the gameplay - everything was perfect.
My hat is completely off to you guys and gals that worked on this project - you have created a masterpiece.

I never thought I could develop such a connection to a game and it's characters. Im on my third play through, and I just cant stop. The twist at the end with Morrigan, OH GOD, that REALLY cought me off gaurd. I knew she was up to somethin, but she left, tear goin down my cheek, she left. LOL, when she told me what up, I paused and left the room and I had to grab myself a beer to calm me down. Definitly one to remember. Played through again knowing its coming, and it still hurts as much to see her leave. You guys at BIOWARE have made history, and you have to make a sequel to explain Morrigan's actions. Why she do it ? Did she have a choice ? Does Flemith and the dragon cult have anything to do with it ? We must know. BIOWARE, u all are the best.

I have finished the game a couple of weeks ago, it is a real nice game. Conversations, politics everything you expect of such a game. My compliments for that.

One thing i do miss however is the multiplayer option, the aurora toolset and things like that, where NWN1, and 2 excelled in DAO lacks this feature. This kinda saddened me especially for the price i had to pay...

Or maybe just make hard a more difficult mode all on its own and make the previous the current three difficulties easier? Just because you like max/min-ing your characters doesn't mean that everyone enjoys the mathematics of building a character and I think those people should be able to experience the story just like someone who enjoys a more challenging experience, and it is pretty arrogant to dismiss those people by calling them stupid. They are just not playing the game in a different way than you are.

Loved the game except when trying to beat Branka!!! Don't mind a battle but it's annoying when there's only four in my team and not only Golems fighting me but Branks appearing in muliple for my four to have to battle, ridiculous. This part of the game has spoilt the game for me, Perhaps it's because I'm playing as a mage, but I've tried seven times to get through this level, now I'm considering binning the game which is a shame as it's a good story, good repartée between characters, but that's life. Back to Guild Wars it seems.

I did both quests for Belean and Harramont and now I can't progress in the story because both party's quests tell me to talk to the opposite party and I can't enter the Prince's chambers. I try to pick the lock and it says that I need a key, but the guard in front of the chamber doors says that I can just go right in.

Fantastic game, i love the in depth story developement. The massive world of the game is perfect and the epic battles balance out the numerous cut scenes. (which in most games are annoying but you have made it a vital role in the game) Bioware you have earned my undying respect
